When it comes to a relaxing time, few things can compare to a hot, refreshing shower at the end of a long and tiring day at work. But if you are like most people, you would definitely want to give your bathroom a new look, but just cannot spare the time or perhaps the money to get it done ...
If so, the good news is that you do not necessarily need to invest a lot of time or money in giving your bathroom a facelift - you could do that with relatively little effort, time and on a shoestring budget. A few changes here, a few changes there, some imagination and creativity might be what may be needed to get the work done. Here are a few ideas ...
. Has your shower curtain been around for a while ? If so, you might want to start by getting a brand new shower curtain - one of a totally different color that is not already present to any appreciable extent in your bathroom already.
. Do away with all the old soap dishes, napkins, toothbrush holders, lotion dispensers and the like. Get new ones that look distinct and possibly have multiple functions. Creative new designs always seem to be available on the market and you might want to see if any of them catch your fancy.
. See what looks old and worn out in your bathroom. Replace them with colorful new accessories. That should do a great deal of good when it comes to improving how your bathroom looks and feels.
. See if you can work some colorful contrasts into your bathroom. Hang some colorful and soft napkins. And some nice looking pictures - ones that would put you into a pleasant state of mind.
. Clean up your bathroom. This you might want to do before you start anything else. Bathrooms that look sterile and clean look good.
. Try changing the air freshener. If you have been using the same kind of air freshener for a while, then you might want to replace it with something else you like.
And here is one tip that could make you bathroom look a lot, lot different and more spacious too
Add more mirrors, if you can. Adding a few full length mirrors to the walls of your bathroom can make it look and feel a lot more spacious and inviting. This is especially true for smaller bathrooms. But adding mirrors is possibly the easy part - they have to be kept clean all the time and this would mean quite a bit of effort.
You could give your bathroom a brand new and more inviting look with a bit of creativity. But keeping it that way does require time and effort.
